PtX@Sea – Pioneering Offshore Power-to-X

PtX@Sea demonstrated an integrated, wind-powered Power-to-X process chain on a floating offshore platform. The project investigated seawater treatment, direct air capture, co-electrolysis, and Fischer–Tropsch synthesis under real offshore conditions. Digital twins and intelligent automation supported reliable, flexible operations and advanced the development of autonomous, sustainable e-fuel production at sea.
