H2Mare-PtX-Wind
2021–2025
Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), H2Mare-PtX-Wind explored offshore production of green hydrogen and synthetic fuels using wind energy. The project developed a modular, floating Power-to-X research platform for operation under challenging maritime conditions. A digital twin, integrated process control, and remote operation supported simulation, monitoring, and reliable system operation. Wind forecasting and optimized operational strategies aimed to improve flexibility, efficiency, and sustainable offshore energy production.
